Sunday Mass at St. Luke’s is a joyful and loud affair! Organ led music and singing, incense, bells, and vestments. A traditional mass using the Church of England’s liturgy with lots of movement and noise. Children take part in our Sunday School at the back of church and toddlers roam free. Tuesday Mass
Mass at St. John’s. A simple said mass held in the side chapel at St. John’s. Easy to follow, informally led. No incense, but bells, candles and vestments along with a simple hymn. Stay after mass for some tea, coffee, cake, and natter.
Wednesday Mass
A simple said mass held in the Lady Chapel of St. Luke’s. Informally led with no incense, but with reverence, candles, a simply hymn, and vestments. Beauty and simplicity combine to create a special service held tightly together in the love we experience together. Stay after mass for a time of fellowship over tea, coffee, cake, and a natter.
Thursday Mass
Mass at St. John’s. A simple said mass held in the Guild of All Souls chapel. A mass of the dead is usually offered on Thursdays. No incense, but bells, candles and vestments.
Friday Mass
A simple said mass held in the Lady Chapel of St. Luke’s. Informally led with no instance, but with reverence, candles, a simply hymn, and vestments. This smaller mass is usually very friendly and has a special focus on more in depth teaching during the homily. Beauty and simplicity combine to create a special service held tightly together in the love we experience together.
BCP Mass
A beautiful said BCP (Book of Common Prayer) Mass. Offered in the beautiful church of St. John’s this quiet, calm, and uplifting service will leave you renewed in the grace of God.
Family Mass
A new lively, engaging, and noisy, service of worship, prayer, and the mass here at St. John’s. Join us from 10:30am for coffee & donuts, a great start to your Sunday. Grab a paper and have a natter before we move into our worship at about 11am. There’ll be talks for the children and activities to help them learn about the bible and what it means to be a Christian – it’s also the perfect service for a christening. After…
