Graham is our Lay Minister here at St. Luke’s.
Licensed Lay Ministers (LLMs) (also known as Readers) are volunteer leaders in the church, from all walks of life, who are called by God, theologically trained and licensed by the Church to preach, teach, lead worship, educate, care and explore new ways of bringing church and the love of God to their communities.
Graham is available for funerals, pastoral visiting, the leading of services, or just a natter if you need it.
Graham is also one of our Church Wardens at St. Luke’s. Churchwardens are the bishop’s lay officers in a parish. It is a volunteer role, and Churchwardens are vital to the health and wellbeing of our church communities.
Together with the parish priest, Graham is responsible for the day-to-day functioning of St. Luke’s. His role is very varied, but generally involves matters to do with church life, governance, buildings and worship.
