It forms part of a new joint service with the Newton Abbot Team that will broadly be every 5th Sunday, although shifting slightly when it interferes with more important dates (like Advent Sunday). A simple said mass held in the Lady Chapel of St. Luke’s. Informally led with no instance, but with reverence, candles, a simply hymn, and vestments. This smaller mass is usually very friendly and has a special focus on more in depth teaching during the homily. Beauty and simplicity combine to create a special service held tightly together in the love we experience together.

SLSJ Joint Mass
On the 5th Sunday of the month we join together for a beautiful mass. We swap churches each time so that we have an opportunity to get to know one another and how we may worship slightly differently. There’ll always be an opportunity for fellowship after the service. Our first joint mass will be at St. Luke’s, more details about the service will be available soon.
